The Great
Pumpkin is a
mystery character in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz.
It likely exists only in the imagination of Linus Van Pelt -- who sits
in the pumpkin patch on Halloween night waiting for the Great Pumpkin's
appearance. According to Linus, on Halloween night the Great Pumpkin rises
out of the pumpkin patch that he deems to be most "sincere". We
hope he's coming to our Very Sincere Pumpkin Patch at Kackleberry Farm
this year!
