About The Farmers

Kackleberry Farm is owned and operated by Mitch and Lisa Vaughn. They have five children ranging in ages from 14 to 1 year: Stone, Hunter, Savannah, Holden, and Lily. Mitch is a high school resource teacher and Lisa recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and is pursuing her master’s degree.

Kackleberry Farm became a reality in 2007. The original purpose of Kackleberry Farm was to combine education and agriculture to teach children about life on the farm. The result - agrication! We also added something to intrigue young and young-at-heart alike - a CORN MAZE!

This year, we have already added new things to make our fall season the best YET! Our maze will be larger and we are adding new attractions daily! We never stop working so that you can have a wonderful time when you visit our farm.

As we continue to grow and expand, we remain true to our primary focus: providing a family-oriented, educational experience for all of our visitors.

The EggsPress

Welcome to Kackleberry Farm blog — we call it the EggsPress!

It’s the place to find out what’s happening at the farm now, and what may be on our calendar for the future.

The EggsPress will have up-to-date information on farm weather conditions, and whether we have had any emergency closings due to weather concerns.

Find out what the entertainment will be for a certain day! Learn about new animals born on the farm. Look through our photo gallery … and more.

Things change with the season at Kackleberry Farm,
so visit the EggsPress often for the news!
